Migraine Renaissance Weekly - Start Here
What to Expect and My Mission

The Migraine Renaissance Is Here (And You’re Invited)
If you have migraines, and the chances are pretty good that you do since around 15% of our population suffer from this debilitating neurological condition, I have a question for you that I think really needs a closer look.
Why, despite all our medications, injections, devices, etc. are millions of people still stuck in bed with migraines?
Why are smart, driven people still missing work… canceling plans… struggling just to be present with their families? Why is this still the leading cause of disability in people under 50yo? I think breaking these questions down more specifically can really be a great starting point toward understanding the path to true migraine relief.
Medications can help and for so many, they’re an absolutely key part of their migraine recovery, but the experience of countless people that I have worked with and even the scientific literature, suggests that they are simply not enough on their own. I know this because I’ve lived it and I’ve also walked the path alongside so many of my clients on their journey to recovery.
If you’re anything like countless clients I’ve worked with, you’ve had migraines for years.
You’ve seen the neurologist, maybe even a few. You’ve tried the medications, the elimination diets, the vague “stress reduction” strategies. Maybe someone told you it’s hormonal, or perhaps the notorious: “It’s just a headache.”
But deep down, you know there’s more going on. You’ve felt it.
The brain fog. The fatigue. The weird blinding visual shows. The tingling in your fingers or face. The neck stiffness that no one ever seems to take seriously.
Yet, I’m willing to bet that no one has ever actually taken the time to sit down to tell you what’s actually going on. What really is a migraine? Why are you having these other symptoms with your headaches too? How can you actually start tackling this in a way that really delivers change and supports where medications fall short?
That’s why I’m launching Migraine Renaissance Weekly (and podcast).
Because the >1 billion people like you living with migraines globally deserve answers that actually make sense and steps they can actually take beyond simply trying yet another medication.
I’m Dr. Dylan Wells, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, and migraine specialist health coach, but perhaps most importantly, I’m someone who also used to suffer from chronic migraines and I found my way to migraine freedom.
Over the past several years, I’ve helped well over 100 people reclaim their lives from frequent migraines—not through guesswork or generic advice, but by guiding them through the process of understanding and working with their brain’s and body’s in ways that actually deliver results, instead of constantly battling this complex condition with random disconnected efforts. Plus, I help work through and around the other practical constraints and preferences in their lives to make the changes actually stick.
The truth is, most migraine care support is failing you, not because it’s missing effort, but because it’s missing clarity, coherence, and personalization.
My Mission:
My mission with Migraine Renaissance Weekly is to structurally transform the ways that we handle one of the most disabling conditions impacting the world. I want to empower you to take back control of your health and provide a much better understanding of what is really driving this crazy condition behind the scenes. I want to help you learn about the things that truly make an impact AND provide the support to implement them in a way that actually sticks.
Ultimately, I want to shift the global narrative about what the first line of support looks like for the majority of people with migraines as well as how we work through even the most severe cases of chronic or intractable migraine (happening numerous times per month to almost constant).
There genuinely is a better way. I have walked the path to recovery with countless people through this process and I have lived it myself.
What you can expect:
Every Monday, I’ll be sharing bite-size, science-backed insights that cut through the confusion. First off, we’ll unpack exactly what’s going on in your brain during a migraine—but also what you can do about it. What makes this different is not just the science and clear applicable explanations, but the strategy.
I’ll show you how to finally start taking the steps that matter most, using a system I call the 7-Pillars of the Migraine Renaissance.
You’ll learn things like why your migraines might get worse after workouts (and how to fix it), what your neck pain might actually be trying to tell you, what those weird visual or sensory symptoms mean, and how to stop living in fear of your next attack.
But this isn’t just about knowledge. It’s about transformation.
This newsletter is the beginning of a community. A place where you’ll be seen, understood, and supported. If you’ve felt dismissed or confused by your experience with migraine care, you’re not alone—and you’re definitely not crazy. The science is evolving fast, but too few people are translating it into real-life relief. That’s what I’m here to do.
If you’ve ever thought to yourself “Why hasn’t anyone explained this to me before?”—you’re in the right place.
The first edition of Migraine Renaissance Weekly drops on Monday. Subscribe now to make sure you don’t miss it—and if you know someone else who needs to hear this, pass it on.
This is your space now.
Let’s begin the Renaissance.
